The brain of a monitoring site. The 50386 reads up to 29 sensor inputs, logs everything locally, and transmits reports the moment a threshold is crossed — plus on timed schedules. It's the platform inside every 53xx packaged station, and it's available alone for custom installations.

Already own legacy 50386 units?
They can be brought to ALERT2 in the field: the 5096/A2 firmware upgrade plus the 50386/A2-UP kit (ALERT2 encoder, GPS antenna/receiver and lynx386 v2 software). HydroLynx recommends adding a 5033-0.6B solar panel and 5031-18 battery at upgraded sites.
