A complete solution, delivered with trusted partners
HydroLynx builds the field equipment and telemetry. For the software that turns your data into decisions, and for installation and long-term service, we work hand-in-hand with two partners who share our roots in real-time flood warning.
Software Partner
TriLynx Systems — NovaStar5
NovaStar5 is the industry-leading software for real-time environmental data collection, management and notification, with a specific focus on flood-warning. It's owned and supported by TriLynx Systems, founded in 2014 when the NovaStar5 platform was acquired from HydroLynx.
TriLynx continues to enhance NovaStar5 and offers NovaStar Cloud for smaller monitoring and flood-warning systems. Decoded data from HydroLynx ALERT2 receivers feeds directly into NovaStar5, so the field equipment and the operations software work as one system.
Installation & Service Partner
Water & Earth Technologies (WET)
Water & Earth Technologies, Inc. is a water-resources and environmental engineering firm we partner with for installation and service support. WET provides complete project management — from the design of the monitoring network through radio licensing, installation and long-term maintenance.
Their engineers and field technicians work across all 50 states on ALERT/ALERT2 flood-warning, water-quality and environmental monitoring projects, bringing deep field experience to HydroLynx deployments.
How the pieces fit
One field-proven system, three specialists — with a shared heritage in real-time flood warning.
HydroLynx
Designs and manufactures the ALERT2 field stations, telemetry, sensors and receivers — the hardware that measures and moves your data.
TriLynx Systems
Owns and develops NovaStar5, the software that collects, manages and alarms on your data at the operations center.
Water & Earth Technologies
Designs, licenses, installs and maintains the network in the field, with full project management.
TriLynx and WET are co-located in Severance, Colorado, and collaborate closely on products, services and new solutions — all three companies trace back to the same real-time flood-warning lineage.

ALERT2 is an open standard, and that's by design — no single vendor controls it, and equipment from different manufacturers interoperates on the same network.
HydroLynx participates in the National Hydrologic Warning Council's ALERT2 Technical Working Group alongside fellow members such as Blue Water Design, whose ALERT2 intelligent network devices are built into HydroLynx ALERT2 products and whose public resource library hosts the protocol specifications and planning tools. Open standards, shared engineering, and interoperable equipment are what keep flood-warning networks vendor-neutral and future-proof.
