Support
We don't just ship equipment — we help you run it
A flood-warning network is only as good as the people keeping it running. HydroLynx backs every system with training, service and field engineering from a team that has been building ALERT networks since the late 1970s.
Training
Successful systems depend on operators who know them well. We provide thorough, hands-on training in installation, operation and maintenance — offered as an integral part of system installations, and available on-site or at the factory.
Service
When hazardous weather hits, you need prompt, reliable service. With your authorization, our experts can remotely monitor your system to confirm proper operation and diagnose issues immediately. Equipment repair and customized support services are available on request.
Field Engineering
Our field engineers have been involved in hundreds of projects, domestic and international, since the late 1970s — covering initial engineering, installation assistance, system startup and commissioning. On-site help is available as needed, straight from the factory.
Installation service — pick your level
Not every agency wants the same amount of help. HydroLynx offers tiered installation service, and our staff will recommend the right level for your project and your team's capabilities.
Full installation
- HydroLynx installs the complete system — field stations, network and base station — and commissions it end to end.
Partial installation
- You install the field hardware; HydroLynx installs the base station and software. Recommended when you have capable field crews but want our expertise on the computer and software side.
Self-install with support
- Your team installs, with factory personnel available on an as-needed basis to ensure a successful, timely startup.
Installation & service partner: Water & Earth Technologies
For installation and long-term service, we partner with Water & Earth Technologies (WET), a water-resources and environmental engineering firm with 100+ years of combined experience. WET provides complete project management — from monitoring-network design through radio licensing, installation and long-term maintenance — on ALERT/ALERT2 projects nationwide.
