ALERT2 Upgrade Kit
Modernize without replacing. The upgrade kit installs in the field on existing HydroLynx 50386 transmitters and brings them to the full ALERT2 standard — GPS-timed TDMA reporting, forward error correction and 4× the data rate — while your standpipes, sensors and site work all stay in service.

ALERT2's GPS-timed reporting depends on healthy power — refreshing the battery and adding solar while the cabinet is open saves a second trip.

- Your radio, if compatible with the ALERT2 plan
Planning a migration
Networks rarely flip in one day — and they don't have to. A typical migration adds a 5052RD-K-H ALERT2 receiver alongside the legacy decoder, upgrades field stations in batches as crews visit them, and retires the legacy receiver when the last station converts. New stations purchased during the transition simply ship as /A2 models.
