Complete monitoring stations, ready for the field
A packaged station is everything a site needs in one tested unit: the sensor, the transmitter with data logging, the radio, the antenna, a 22 Ah battery, a solar panel and the vandal-resistant standpipe enclosure. Choose what you want to measure — the rest is configuration, not engineering.
Two decisions pick your station
Every station family comes in the same set of variants, so choosing is simple:
1. What do you measure?
- Rainfall
- Water level / stream stage
- Full weather
- Water quality + level
2. ALERT2 or ALERT?
- ALERT2 — the current NHWC standard; adds collision-free TDMA time slots, forward error correction and GPS time sync. Add /A2 to the model number.
- ALERT — for matching an existing ALERT network. Order the same model without the /A2 suffix.

The station families
Packaged Rain Station
Reports each 1 mm bucket tip the moment it happens — the workhorse of flood-warning networks.
- Tipping-bucket gauge with funnel top section

Packaged Water Level Station
Stream stage, reservoir and channel level by submersible pressure transducer with 40 ft vented cable.
- Range specified per site, 0–5 to 0–300 PSIG
- Accuracy classes ±0.10% to ±1.0% FSO
- Rain gauge top can be added to the same pipe
Packaged Weather Station
A complete surface-weather suite on one standpipe: wind, temperature, humidity, barometric pressure and rain.
- Wind speed/direction, temp/RH in radiation shield, barometer
- Propeller and ultrasonic wind upgrades available
- Optional solar-radiation sensor
Packaged Water Quality Station
In-situ water quality plus level: temperature, conductivity, pH, dissolved oxygen and turbidity from an SDI-12 multiprobe.
- Multi-parameter sonde plus pressure-transducer level
- Same telemetry, power and enclosure as every station
Packaged Repeater
Extends radio coverage across terrain. Variants add a second radio, a rain gauge, a level sensor or full weather sensors to the repeater site.
- High-gain DB224/DB408 antenna, 22 Ah battery, solar
Every packaged station requires two site-specific items at order time: the radio (5 W standard; 30 W available) and your licensed operating frequency. Level stations also need the transducer range. The Product Selector collects all of these for you.
