Tipping-Bucket Rain Gauge
The standard ALERT rain gauge. The 5054TS top section — funnel, screen and 24-inch housing — bolts to any ALERT station standpipe (or stands alone with a roof or pole mount), and inside it the 5050P tipping-bucket sensor counts every millimetre. HydroLynx tipping buckets carry a lifetime warranty to the original purchaser.

5050P — the sensor
Hard-anodized aluminum construction with self-lubricating nylon bearings for long-term operation. A bullseye level makes initial installation simple, and a magnetically operated sealed reed switch delivers a reliable SPDT (Form "C") digital pulse straight into any HydroLynx transmitter.
5054TS — the housing
The standard ALERT rain-gauge top section attaches to any ALERT station standpipe, and its design also allows standalone mounting with the roof-mount kit. Every 5054TS ships with the 5050P sensor installed.
